Eligibility:
A student who has passed the Senior Secondary Examination, Class-XII of CBSE New Delhi/ PSEB, Mohali/ National Open School Delhi or any other board the equivalence of which is recognized by the Panjab University is eligible for admission to the First Year B.A. Degree Course.

a) +2 Examination or B.COm Part-1 (old scheme) of Panjab University with three of the following subjects securing at least 45 percent marks in the aggregate:-
- Commerce (or theory of commerce or foundation course in Commerce)
- Accountancy - Economics - Business Organization (or Business Management or Theory and Practice of Management)
- Insurance (or General Insurance or Life Insurance)
- Banking and Trade
- Commercial Geography
- Office Management and Secretarial Practice (or Office Organisation and Management)
- Mercantile Law (or any Company Law) -Auditing
- Typewriting and Stenography
b) +2 Examination or B.A. Part-I (Old Scheme) of Punjab University with at least two of the subject mentioned in (a) securing at least 50% marks in aggregate.
c) +2 Examination or B.A. (Part-I)/B.Sc.-I/Pre-Engineering/Pre-Medical examination of Panjab University under old scheme not covered in (b) securing at least 50% marks.
d) Any other examination recognized by the university as equivalent to (a), (b) or (c)

Important Note:- Environment, road safty and violence against women and children and drug. This is a compulsory qualifying paper, which the students have to study in the B.A./B.Com./BCA ist Year (2nd Semester). If the student(s) Fail/Fails to qualify the paper during the 2nd Semester, she will be allowed to appear in the same in the 4th and 6th semester. Failing to qualify this paper, Degree will not be issued by Panjab University.
